Bon Appetit at Santa Clara University Executive Chef, Eugene Zelditch, joined the SCU Dining team in January of 2023. Chef Eugene previously served as Executive Chef at Bon Appetit at Nvidia.
Earlier in his career, he was the Executive Catering Chef at the Fairmont San Jose. During his seven years at the Fairmont Hotel, he also served as Executive Sous Chef and Acting Executive Chef.
Chef Eugene graduated from the Le Cordon Blue program at the California Culinary Academy with honors and completed his externship at “Bistro de Venise” Restaurant, Venice Italy. In his progressive career as a culinary professional, Eugene worked under world-renowned and three-Michelin star Chef, Christopher Kostow, and was a part of the team which earned him his first two stars.
With fine dining background and extensive hotel and catering experience, Chef Eugene is excited to bring a memorable dining experience to the Santa Clara Community.
